Before booking your appointment, please review my policies on cancellations, late arrivals, and the strict hygiene standards I uphold to ensure a luxury nail experience. If you have any questions, my FAQ section covers everything you need to know about my vegan gel nail services, Russian manicures, BIAB nails, and more.

Transparency is my top priority, and I reserve the right to update these policies as needed. Any changes will be communicated via email to my mailing list and shared in my Instagram highlights.

Cancellation Policy

Made by Ahyoka has a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will lose your €75-85 deposit that is required in order to book. If you do not have a credit card I require a cash deposit of €75-85 to hold your appointment. If you no show, you will lose your €75-85 deposit. If you choose not to show up to your appointment on 3 different occasions, then you will no longer be able to receive services from me.

Late Arrival Policy

Punctuality is essential to ensure the best experience for all my clients. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, I reserve the right to cancel your appointment, and your deposit will be forfeited.

I will always do my best to accommodate you; however, I cannot guarantee availability. If time permits, please note that your service may need to be adjusted to fit within the remaining time—this may include modifications such as skipping nail art or adjustments to your desired nail shape.

To reschedule, you will need to book a new appointment based on current availability through my online booking system.

Hygiene Policy

Your health and safety are my top priorities. I adhere to the highest standards of sanitation to ensure a clean and safe nail care experience. All metal tools used during services are thoroughly sanitized and disinfected after each appointment.

For your protection, disposable materials such as nail files, buffers, and manicure sticks are used exclusively for you and are never shared with another client. Each item is carefully stored separately to maintain the highest level of hygiene and professionalism.

Please do not hesitate to call if you need to cancel your appointment, are running late, or have questions about any of my policies or services. I am always here to help & will do my best to accommodate you.

How long do your nail services take?

I am a perfectionist, and I take the time needed to ensure you receive a spectacular, high-quality set of nails every time. The duration of your appointment depends on the type of nail service, nail art complexity, and whether you arrive with nails from another studio that require removal or correction.

You can expect your appointment to take anywhere from 1.5 to 4 hours. Nail art can range from simple to highly detailed designs, and sculpting gel extensions is a meticulous process that requires precision and artistry.

How can I make an appointment?

The only way to book your luxury nail service is through my secure online booking system. This ensures a seamless and convenient experience, allowing you to choose the perfect time for your appointment with ease.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash & card.

What is included in the price of a nail service?

Every Russian gel manicure, BIAB nails, or sculpted gel extensions service includes meticulous cuticle cleaning, nail bed preparation, expert gel polish application, and a luxurious finish with nourishing cuticle oil to keep your nails healthy and hydrated.

Why don’t you offer acrylic nail extensions?

I prioritize using health-conscious, non-toxic products in my services. Acrylic contains harsh chemicals that produce strong odors and release fine particles when filed, which can be harmful to both my clients and myself.

Instead, I work exclusively with gel nail products, which are odor-free, free from harsh chemicals, non-porous, lighter, and more flexible, offering a healthier and more comfortable experience without compromising on durability or beauty.

what is the difference between tips and forms/sculpted?

Tips are when artificial plastic tips are glued onto the tip of your natural nail to extend to your desired length. The length of the tip can be cut down, and shaped into your preferred style. Forms/sculpted nails are when a piece of foil, also known as a form, are used as a support under the natural nail tip to help extend to the desired length and shape.

why can’t i ask you to replicate another nail artists work?

As a creative professional, I do not replicate other artists' designs—I specialize in crafting my own unique nail art. While many designs share similar elements, I’m happy to take inspiration from a photo you love and create a custom version that reflects my artistic style.

Please note: I reserve the right to kindly decline requests that do not align with my stylistic approach. Your nails will always look their best when the artist is passionate and inspired by the design process.

what if my Russian gel manicure chips shortly after your service?

I stand by the quality of my work. If your Russian gel manicure chips within 7 days of your appointment, I’ll be happy to fix it at no cost. Simply reach out to schedule a repair, and I’ll ensure your nails look flawless again.

Why do my nail extensions need to be replaced after my 3rd-4th fill?

To maintain the strength, structure, and longevity of your nail extensions, they need to be replaced after your 3rd or 4th fill (at my discretion). Over time, the balance and integrity of the nails can shift, so a full reconstruction ensures they remain healthy and durable.

When it’s time for a fresh set, please select “Hard Gel Removal/Reconstruction WITH New Set (after 3rd or 4th fill)” when booking your appointment online.

Why do you recommend fills on extensions every 2.5-4 weeks?

I recommend scheduling a nail fill every 2.5 to 4 weeks (depending on individual nail growth) to maintain proper balance and structural integrity. Regular fills help prevent issues such as lifting, which can allow moisture to become trapped underneath—potentially leading to nail fungus—and minimize the risk of breakage.

If more than 4 weeks have passed since your last appointment, a full set will be required to properly restore your nails. In this case, please book the "Hard Gel Removal/Reconstruction WITH New Set" service.

How do you charge for nail art?

The cost of nail art varies depending on the design's complexity and materials used. Factors include the size and number of decals, detailed freehand nail art, or the use of foils, glitter, and powders, which are all considered nail art.

I’m happy to plan your custom nail art set with you before your appointment and provide a personalized quote.

Do you charge for changing the shape of the extensions during a fill?

Yes, there is an additional charge for changing the shape of your nail extensions during a fill, as reshaping requires extra time and precision.

Can I add nail art to my service after I have arrived?

Unfortunately, no. Nail art must be booked in advance, as my schedule is carefully planned based on the services requested. Without prior notice, I won’t have the extra time needed to complete the nail art you desire.

What if I forget to let you know I need a removal done?

If you forget to book removal time, it may impact the service I can provide, as my appointments are scheduled to allow for specific services. While I’ll do my best to accommodate you, I may need to adjust your appointment to fit within the available time.

do you only creATE LONG NAIL EXTENSIONS?

Not at all! While I can create long nail extensions, most of my clients prefer short to medium-length nails that are both stylish and practical. Every set is customized to suit your preferences and lifestyle.

are you mobile?

Yes, I offer mobile nail services for groups booking three or more main services. A travel fee applies and is calculated based on the distance from my studio.
